About us

Maison Albert Bichot

Founded in 1831, Albert Bichot is an independent winery managed by the 6th generation of the family. Its Domaines extend all along Burgundy on more than 100 hectares (250 acres): Domaine Long-Depaquit (160 acres) in Chablis, Domaine du Clos Frantin (18.5 acres) and Château-Gris (8.6 acres) in Côte de Nuits, Domaine du Pavillon (42 acres) in Côte de Beaune, Domaine Adélie (17.5 acres) in Mercurey and Domaine de Rochegrès (13 acres) in Moulin-à-Vent. The vineyards are grown following organic or sustainable practices.
In each winery in Chablis, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Beaune, Pommard and Moulin-à-Vent, a dedicated team intervenes as little as possible during the vinification and ageing process and tailors wines with a perfect sense of terroir. The same care is taken to the grapes purchased from their partner growers as to the grapes from their own estates.
